I've always wanted to have a little dog that I could name "Spot." Well, now I do have a little spotted dog, but his name is "Buddy." This new blog is not really about Buddy, but he is a part of my life. I am an artist, and this blog will be about my life and my art. Welcome!

some of the mandalas on exhibit in bassett...
There are 18 of these paintings, most are watercolor or acrylic on 11x15" watercolor paper, then matted and framed to 20"h x 16"w. I have taught workshops on making mandalas for many years, and there is always enough time when the participants are engrossed in their own paintings, that I have time to make my own!
I teach from Angeles Arrien's book entitled Signs of Life, that discusses five simple shapes and their significance, and how to use them to create your own personal mandala.
I hope to have a mandala-making workshop - or two! - at the gallery in Bassett in conjunction with my show. That will be so much fun! I love to share my passion for mandalas with others.
