I went to Tiede's this morning. Haven't been there in weeks (gasp!!!!)

I was on the hunt for materials with which to make a mermaid art doll.  My little friend, Lilly, who is almost four, loves Arielle.  I told her I would make her a mermaid doll for her birthday.  She requested purple hair.  So, I was looking for fabric for the body and tail, and other stuff for embellishments.  I got several small pieces of fabric.  Looks like I may have to make more than one mermaid doll! Probably a couple for her, and a couple for me! I think I found some great fabric for tails!  Also picked up some laces and beads and sequins and shells and such.  Still need to find the right yarn for the purple hair.
