It is really amazing. 60 degrees, sunny, in January in Nebraska. Because I didn't want to miss it (!) I went outside and sat by the back door with Buddy and Jack. Then, walked around the yard a bit with my camera. There is still plenty of snow, but it is melting. As evidenced by the backyard Buddha emerging from the drift. The ancient elm trees are skeletal, but soon (wishful thinking here!) will have buds. The sky is blue and clear. So nice. Fresh. Refreshing.
